Heartsaver® CPR AED – Level A Courses (Adult)

All Heartsaver® CPR AED – Level A courses offer the same learning objectives – to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to be able to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on an adult experiencing a cardiac arrest in a safe, timely and effective manner.

In just a few hours – through video-based lectures, hands-on practice, and knowledge and skills testing – you will gain the confidence and ability to perform critical life-saving skills.
Heartsaver® CPR AED – Level C Courses (Adult, Child & Infant)

All Heartsaver® CPR AED – Level C courses offer the same learning objectives – to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to be able to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on an adult, child and infant experiencing a cardiac arrest in a safe, timely and effective manner.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundational course for healthcare professionals and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. BLS is the cornerstone program for healthcare professionals.

As the gold standard, Heart & Stroke’s BLS training courses teach the theoretical and hands-on skills needed to respond to medical emergencies and drives the best possible patient outcomes.
In this course, you will learn the fundamental skills of high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for victims of all ages. You will practice delivering these skills as a single rescuer and as a member of a multi-rescuer team.
Basic First Aid

Heart & Stroke’s Basic First Aid is designed to prepare you, as a workplace first aider, to recognize an injury or illness, call and inform emergency medical services (EMS), and provide basic first aid care to the injured or ill worker.

Employers and organizations decide on their first aid course based on their jurisdiction’s regulatory requirements, so before you choose a course to fulfill a workplace first aid requirement, talk to your employer or organization.
